Case New Holland in Grand Island will be hiring 200 new employees this fall.
CNH Human Resources Manager Ross Wachowski says the plant is adding a third combine and will be increasing production. Wachowski says the hiring will be done in September, October, and November. New employees will begin working in October and November.
The additional posts will bring the total number employees to 750. Marlan Ferguson with the Grand Island Economic Development Corporation says hiring that many people is the equivalent of a new company coming to town. Ferguson says Grand Island will benefit from the additional dollars being spent in the city as a result from the expanded payroll.
Wachowski wants people to know that the plant does not accept applications. Those who wish to apply should go to the Workforce Development Center.
