Omaha police have identified Rachel Marlenee as the victim of a fatal accident early Monday in central Omaha.
Police say the 21-year-old was a passenger in a car that went out of control, jumped a curb, hit a fire hydrant, and slid into the brick and concrete sign on the corner of the Benson Public Library.
Police say the driver was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say alcohol is suspected in the crash, and neither car occupant was wearing a seat belt.
