Lincoln police were called to the scene of a head-on collision in the area of 27th and Cornhusker Highway early Wednesday morning.
Captain Chris Peterson with LPD says the crash occurred just after midnight.
Peterson says it appears a white pick-up hit a tow truck and he says the pick-up was driving on the wrong side of the road.
Both the pick-up and the tow truck had one occupant in each vehicle and Peterson says the driver of the pick-up suffered significant but non life-threating injuries.
Peterson says alcohol may have been a factor, but police are not yet ruling out a medical episode as the cause either.
