Charges have been dropped in the case against the former treasurer of the Lancaster County Democrats.
James Ritzman, 57, had been charged with felony theft over accusations that he embezzled the party's money.
That case was dropped after Ritzman agreed to enter a pretrial diversion program.
Earlier court records showed more than $110,000 was transferred to Ritzman's peresonal accounts. Court documents also showed Ritzman put $70,000 back into the group's account, leaving $40,000 unaccounted for.
Ritzman was arrested in late February after monhths of being investigated over party officials' suspicions.
