Nebraska officials have suspended all staff members involved in new allegations of abuse and neglect at a unit of the Beatrice State Developmental Center.
The Nebraska State Patrol said on Wednesday that the investigation was requested by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Jodi Fenner is director of the division of developmental disabilities.
Fenner says none of the allegations involved incidents that required subsequent medical treatment.
She would not say how many staff members were involved or otherwise characterize the incidents.
Allegations of neglect and abuse have plagued the southeast Nebraska center for developmentally disabled Nebraskans.
