Two of the four people accused of keeping children in kennels in North Platte were in court again.
Lacey Beyer, 20, and Samantha Eyten, 24, appeared in Lincoln County District Court on Tuesday. The two women, along with Bryson Eyten, 25, and Ashly Clark, 22, are facing felony child abuse and false imprisonment charges.
Police say they rescued four children from a trailer home they lived in with the four adults back in October. They say the home was filled with trash and animal feces, and two of the kids were being kept in kennels.
On Tuesday both Beyer and Samantha Eyten's hearings were continued until later in February.
Judge Richard Birch denied Beyer's attorney's request that her bond be reduced. The original $50,000 bond set for each of the four was already reduced once in county court to $25,000.
The Eytens did bond out, but as of Tuesday both Clark and Beyer remained in the Lincoln County Jail.
Clark and Bryson Eyten are scheduled to appear before the court again in March.
