A 61-year-old Albion woman is dead after a crash in Grand Island Wednesday afternoon.
Police Sgt. Stan Steele said it happened just after 1:00 p.m.
Steele said Gloria Carlson was attempting to turn south from Highway 30 onto Stuhr Road when an eastbound semi-truck hit her vehicle.
Carlson was transported to a local hospital, but died of her injuries.
Steele could not say what caused the crash.
