Lincoln Police say alcohol may have been factor when a driver crashed into a guardrail and center lane divider on Rosa Parks Way.

Police say it happened just after 2:00 Friday morning. Authorities said the westbound car lost control and struck a guardrail before slamming into the center lane divider over Salt Creek.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue transported the driver to Bryan LGH West with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers at the scene said it appears the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.

The car is a total loss.
