Armed Robbers Head for Cooler, Not Cash

Tailgating gone too far? Armed robbers hold up a convenience store, but they don't head to the register.
Lincoln police say just after 2 a.m. Sunday, three men entered the QuikShop at 14th and Adams.
One of the men had a baseball bat. He corralled the clerk and a customer towards the front of the store while the other two men went to the back and stole three cases of beer.
Officers describe the suspects as possibly Hispanic, wearing black ski masks and dark clothing.
Two were thin, one had a stocky build.
No one was hurt. Police are still investigating.
