Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a convenience store late Saturday night.
Officers responded to Mills Squeegee at 2348 N Street just before midnight.
They say a man went into the store and bought a pack of cigarettes but when the clerk handed him his change, the man put his hand in his pocket like he had a weapon and demanded money. The clerk refused and the man fled.
Police say the man didn't actually display a weapon and didn't get away with anything.
The suspect is described at a 50 year old black man, 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds.
He left in a silver or gray Chevy Tahoe.
