Auburn Woman Killed in Hit and Run

The Nemaha County Sheriff's Office asked anyone with information on locating the car involved in the death of 69-year-old Barbara Bolen that occurred Wednesday evening.

Bolen was walking to get her mail at about 8:30 p.m. near her house, which is about two miles east of Auburn on U.S. 136.

Investigators believe a silver or light gray semi-tractor hit Bolen and might have suffered damage to the front passenger side around the fender and headlight.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Nemaha County Sheriff's Office at 402-274-3139 or the Nebraska State Patrol at 402-471-0112.
