Authorities Investigate Hit and Run and Woman Falling From Car
Police are trying to determine if hit and run driver then had a woman fall out of the car during the getaway.
Just after 2:45 Saturday morning, Lincoln Police were called to The Office, a gentleman's club at Folsom and Prospector Streets.
According to Sergeant Teresa Hruza, the initial investigation leads officers to believe the driver of the GMC Envoy hit a parked vehicle in the parking lot.
Hruza said as the GMC exited the driveway, a female passenger inside the SUV ended up outside on the ground.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue transported the woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injures.
Hruza said they are trying to determine if the woman fell out or was pushed.
At the time of our interview, Sgt. Hruza did not know if the Envoy struck the woman, ran over her or she suffered injuries from just falling..
Police are also investigating whether alcohol played a factor in the incident.
