A group of aviation enthusiasts called the EAA is offering an experience that would take people back to the World War II era.

They are offering flights on a restored B-17G Flying Fortress called the Aluminum Overcast. It’s one of 13 Fortresses still flying.

B-17’s were used by the Allies in bombings that helped turn the tide of battle in World War II.

The flights are taking place in Lincoln on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
