Beatrice Fire Destroys Garage; No Injuries

A Beatrice garage goes up in flames.
Beatrice fire crews responded to reports of a house on fire in the area of 9th and Perkins around 9:15 Saturday night.
When they arrived, they found an out building fully engulfed in flames.
They were told a handicapped man lived in the home and may be trapped inside. On their initial search, firefighters didn't find him.
The fire spread into the house before crews got it under control.
Luckily, the handicapped man lived in the neighboring house. No on was harmed in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
