The body of man found in a western Nebraska reservoir has been confirmed as that of a missing North Platte man.
Lincoln County Sheriff Jerome Kramer says that autopsy and dental records confirmed that the body found Sept. 20 was that of 61-year-old Larry Sack.
The body was found by a fisherman at Sutherland Reservoir.
Sack had been missing since Sept. 2. His pickup and fishing pole were found along a canal leading to the reservoir on Sept. 4, and one of Sack's legs was found Sept. 13. Police say it had been severed by a boat propeller.
The autopsy showed Sack had drowned.
Authorities say Sack had diabetes and hadn't been feeling well before his disappearance.
