"The route is no better than when they first introduced it. The route still comes in at the same entry point, and we will continue to oppose this route because it is not safe for our state." - Jane Kleeb, Bold Nebraska

On Sunday, Nov. 18, thousands of Americans rallied in front of the White House asking the President to deny the permit to TransCanada's foreign export pipeline.

Among them was Jane Kleeb-- leader of Bold Nebraska. Bold Nebraska is an organization devoted to keeping the pipeline out of the Nebraska Sandhills.

"At the federal level, we've been trying to stop the pipeline because that's where it can be stopped. It's up to the President to deny the pipeline permit," said Kleeb.

The organization has been working to end the pipeline for more than three years now.

"The route is no better than when they first introduced it. The route still comes in at the same entry point, and we will continue to oppose this route because it is not safe for our state."
