Lincoln Fire and Rescue Crews responded to a report of a fire at Bryan School.

It happened shortly before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at 1801 S. 40th Street. People still inside the building were evacuated.

When firefighters got to the LPS school, they did not see any flames, just smoke filling a hallway.

After investigation, crews determined the inside of a heater caught fire and that's what caused the smoke.
