The location of the Buffalo County Korean War Hero Flight Fundraiser has been moved due to weather concerns. It will be held Sunday, April 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Buffalo County Extension Building.
A hot dog or hamburger lunch will be provided for a free will donation to the Buffalo County Hero Flight. The Bank will match up to $1,000 of the funds raised on that day.
The Buffalo County Korean War Hero Flight provides 25 veterans and their escorts the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. and its historic monuments. The veterans will head to Omaha on June 4 to fly out on June 5. Their stay will last until June 7 with all expenses for the veteran paid, including meals, hotel rooms, flights and bus rides.
