Thursday morning traffic along O street in Lincoln was temporarily re-routed after a minor gas leak.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to 4305 O Street just after 7 a.m. after a car clipped a natural gas line and caused the gas leak.

Officials say buildings in the area were evacuated.

Crews blocked off O street while the accident was investigated. Morning traffic was rerouted for about a half an hour. Both lanes on O street are currently open.
