Just 10 minutes after closing time, a burglar struck a local restaurant. Police think it could be an inside job.

According to Lincoln Police, the manager of the KFC at 48th and Van Dorn locked up at 10:30 Wednesday night.

10 minutes after he left, a motion detector alarm was triggered.

Police say he returned to discover cash missing from the safe.

They say there were no signs of forced entry to the building or the safe.

Police are interviewing employees and everyone who has access to the safe.
