DO YOU HAVE A TIP FOR POLICE?
Lincoln Police are investigating a series of cell phone repair store break-ins.
The latest was discovered at 2:30 Thursday morning at Phone Fix USA near 38th and South street. Officer Katie Flood says an officer had just checked the store 30 minutes earlier.
She says the front glass window was broken out and eight cell phones were taken, along with a cash drawer, laptop and an iPad. The total loss is $1,240.
This is the fourth cell phone repair store burglary in a month.
Flood says Phone Fix USA was burglarized on August first. A similar store, iRepair Smartphones was broken into on August 11th and then again on August 29th.
Video surveillance from iRepair Smartphones caught images of the burglar.
Police are investigating if these break-ins are related.
