It was a busy weekend for car break-ins, both in and around Lincoln.
Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says deputies are investigating at least 4 break-ins reported Sunday morning.
He believes the incidents may be related because they happened in three areas close to each other. The first incident was in the 5200 block of Little Salt where more than $300 worth of goods was taken from an unlocked car.
Deputies then went to 7500 Agnew Road for another unlocked car.
And finally to 9900 Branched Oak Road where a shed was broken into and oil and gas were stolen.
Another car was rummaged through but nothing was stolen.
Meanwhile three teens were caught in the act near 45th and L streets in Lincoln around 3:30 Monday morning.
Authorities say a man was leaving his home when he saw the teens inside a car. When he made a noise they ran south on 45th.
Police set up a perimeter and were able to catch all three.
Police believe they only stole a pack of cigarettes but are checking for other break-ins.
A 16 year old was cited, while a 13 and 15 year old were referred to the County Attorney.
