An outage in the cable system which was discovered about 10:00 p.m. and affecting many parts of Nebraska, is being worked on.
Officials at Time Warner were not immediately available for comment but customer service representatives said they do have an interruption from outside their company. This interruption is affecting service to their customers in different areas, differently.
Some areas have no service at all. Other areas have failures in one or some combination of television, telephone or Internet services the company provides.
Time Warner did not know for sure if other companies might have similar problems.
Early projections are that the service will be repaired by 5:30 Sunday morning.
Customers are asked to call their service provider if they are experiencing problems with cable based services.
