California Murder Suspects Arrested in Nebraska City

Nebraska City, NE-- Nebraska City Police apprehended two men wanted for murder in the state of California. According to Otoe County Attorney David Partsch, Edward T. Anauo, age 25 and Jules C. Carrillo, age 21 were taken into custody shortly after 7:00 P.M. Friday at a house on 502 Firth Corso in Nebraska City.

Earlier today, Roseville, California police issued arrest warrants for two men and a woman following new information that they were allegedly responsible for the murder of a 19-year old Roseville man in the spring of 2013.

California authorities, believing the men were in Nebraska City, contacted NCPD asking local police to follow up on a tip that the fugitives were at the Fifth Corso residence.

Partsch secured a no-knock warrant for the suspects' arrest from the Otoe County Court at 6:40 PM, the NCPD and Otoe County Sheriff's Department Emergency Services Team served the high-risk felony warrant at approximately 7:30 PM this evening. The two suspects were taken into custody without incident and were transported to Plattsmouth and booked into the Cass County Jail.

The two men will appear in Otoe County Court on Monday morning to begin the process of extradition to the State of California.

The female suspect, Laura Kenner, was arrested in the State of New Mexico earlier today and faces extradition to California in that state.
