LINCOLN, Neb. Police are investigating an early morning rollover crash near 70th and Highway 2.
Just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday, police and fire crews were called to the intersection for a single vehicle accident.
According to police, the car was heading south but did not turn when the road curved, north of the intersections.
Initial investigation leads police to believe the car left the road and traveled through a field, knocking over two light poles and a large tree before flipping end over end. The car came to rest over 300 feet from where it left the road.
When crews arrived, they found the driver standing near the wrecked car. The driver walked to the stretcher before being taken to the hospital to be checked out though he did not have any apparent injuries.
Police report alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
