A car ran off the road on Highway 281 and inhaling air-duster may be to blame.
The Grand Island Police Department said three people were rescued from the car after going into a ditch Friday night. One passenger was transported to the hospital. The other two walked away, according to GIPD. Officials used the 'Jaws of Life' to assist the rescue.
One passenger of the car said the driver was inhaling air-duster from a can. She said moments before veering off the road, the driver blacked out from "huffing".
Minutes after the accident, authorities could not confirm the status of the individual who was taken to the hospital.
