A Lincoln man's car is stolen and crashed before he even realized it was missing.

LPD says around 2:30 Saturday morning, officers received reports that a white suburban had crashed into a pole on Cornhusker Highway.

Shortly after, the car's owner called to report it missing.

It appears the owner left it running in the 1300 block of "L" to warm up but someone stole it, drove it a short distance then crashed it.

Police are still investigating and have no suspects.

LPD reminds drivers not to leave their cars unattended. The colder it gets, the more calls they get for stolen vehicles.
