Hundreds of teens and adults stood side by side along O Street in Lincoln Friday night, many near 48th, watching cars driving by screeching their tires and burning rubber in the road.
Meanwhile, police, watching it all very closely, handed out tickets to some of those drivers ... some for excessive noise.
Also, a State Patrol chopper flew overhead, monitoring the situation.
1011 saw some cars skid as they burned their tires, laid down rubber and peeled out.
One teen got a ticket for 98 bucks, but seemed rather amused by it all.
