Tradition is important in the Catholic Faith. "It's been 20 years since we've had a new Bishop. This is a very historic moment in our Diocese," said Father Daniel Rayer of Lincoln's Catholic Diocese.

The Diocese will hold an Installation Mass to officially welcome Lincoln's ninth Bishop, James D. Conley on Tuesday. Preparations for the Mass have been underway for quite some time. On Sunday, Bishop Conley stopped by Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln, to meet the choir and rehearse for Tuesday's ceremony.

When it comes to issues within the Catholic Church and Lincoln's Diocese, Bishop Conley says he plans to be traditional and approachable."The new social media, the digital continent as it's called, whether it be Facebook or Twitter or all the other means of communication, it's a vehicle to bring the Gospel to the world," said Conley.

Tickets to Bishop Conley's Installation Mass are all gone, but the event will be live-streamed to the web.
