The Central Nebraska Regional Airport announced that they received a $900,000 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration this week.
The money will help fund the new terminal building in the works, one that is three time larger than the current terminal and will include new restaurants and other amenities.
"We're, as you can imagine, very excited about that to keep moving forward with building a new terminal and keep that process going. We've got the momentum," said airport director Mike Olson.
This grant money will fund the design phase of the project.
