UPDATE: Ceresco's Water Boil Order Lifted

The water boil order in Ceresco was lifted Wednesday afternoon, just in time to prep for Thanksgiving. Ceresco City Administrator Sheri Henderson said the water passed all tests.

Ceresco was without water for much of Friday, due to a broken valve on a water main. Henderson said it happened while replacing a fire hydrant. It left citizens without water to shower, drink or cook with.

Reports to 10/11 News say the water was restored about 11:30 p.m. Friday but they were ordered to boil water until tests came back Wednesday.
