LINCOLN, (Neb.) A child is in critical condition and five others are injured after a rollover accident Saturday night at the corner of Hwy. 77 and Rokeby Road.
State Patrol says it happened just before 8 p.m. when a pickup drove through a stop sign and t-boned another car. They say a child around the age of four or five was ejected from that vehicle. NSP does not think that child was wearing a seat belt.
The child was life-flighted to Bryan Medical with critical injuries. Five others are also being treated, but in stable condition.
NSP does not believe speed was a factor. But they do plan on citing the driver for running a stop sign.
