A Grand Island woman is facing felony charges after a hit and run on I-80 that sent one man to the hospital.
Lancaster County Deputies said 59-year-old Alice Gloyne of Grand Island was cited for leaving the scene of a major accident after an employee of Trafcon Barricade has injured in a hit and run near Waverly.
Deputies say just 8 a.m. on Jan. 17, 42-year-old Elias Rodriguez was injured when Gloyne hit him with her car, then hit a barricade before driving off.
Sheriff Terry Wagner said Rodriguez was taken to the hospital, but released a short time later.
Wagner said Gloyne admitted to hitting a sign, not the barricade. She works for the VA in Grand Island and was heading to Omaha for a training session.
