Contractors Lose Nearly $7,000 in Burglary

Contractors building a home are out almost $7,000 in supplies after burglars broke into a locked shed.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office said the burglars did not take anything from the home near 82nd and Roca Rd., but broke into a shed at the site and stole a number of tools, including a shotgun.

Deputies also said a 20ft flat bed trailer with WILLNOW construction painted on the side was stolen. The trailer is worth $4,200.

The burglary happened sometime between 6 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 10.

Deputies have no suspects at this time.
