Crews are working to clean up after a full-loaded Union Pacific coal train derailed overnight.

It happened three miles southeast of Fairbury, just off of U.S. Highway 8.

Jim Headley with the Fairbury Journal News tells 10/11 there are coal cars 20 and 30 feet in the air.

The derailment happened next to the Farmsteads area in the back yard of Mike and Jami Diller.

The Dillers were not injured.

The area remains closed off as a Union Pacific derailment specialty crew is already cleaning it up.
