Deborah Tuff Leaving Star City Buzz

Deborah Tuff announced on 10/11 News Wednesday that she's leaving Star City Buzz.

The 30 minute Lincoln arts and entertainment show began in April 2012 with Deborah as the producer, reporter and host. Deborah was nominated for a Heartland Emmy Award for one of her Star City Buzz stories.

Tuff says having her own show has been an amazing experience.

"This has been one of the most fulfilling moments of my career. It's not often where you can go into a workplace and breathe a sigh of relief. That was the case when I walked through 10/11's front door and I haven't looked back since. As far as Star City Buzz, growing up, I always said I would have my own show. I'm so incredibly grateful and humbled I've been able to see that dream realized."

"Aside from my 10/11 family - I'll definitely miss the viewers. They have been so supportive and so sweet. They believed in this lady from Atlanta, with this wild and crazy personality, telling them they've 'just been buzzed' at the top of her high-pitched lungs! I can't thank the viewers enough, because without them watching, Star City Buzz wouldn't have been successful. From the bottom of my big, old heart - thank you."

Star City Buzz fans will continue to get arts and entertainment news in Lincoln. Instead of a 30 minute show, viewers can look forward to seeing Star City Buzz segments, produced and hosted by Anchor Abby Turpin, Thursdays on First News Nebraska, 10/11 News at Noon and First at Four.
