Delivery Drivers in Demand

As Lincolnites are advised to stay off the roads due to snow and ice, delivery drivers are keeping busy. Jimmy Johns advertises itself as "freaky fast," but drivers say Thursday the motto is "freaky safe."

Jimmy Johns clients aren't the only ones in need of meal delivery.
On Thursday morning, organizers from Tabitha's Meals on Wheels program contacted 10/11, concerned about having enough volunteers.
We helped them get the word out, and within a few hours, the organization's Lincoln routes were covered.

Metro Dining Delivery offers restaurant delivery from dozens of Lincoln eateries. The owner tells us that last night the weather forced the business to stop service briefly but Thursday they're back in business and staying busy as customers call in their orders instead of heading out.
