Dozens Hit the Slopes at Pioneers Park - Laura Berry Reports

Pioneers Park was the place to be for many who were enjoying a snow day. Although the snow's texture didn't make it easy to manipulate it into snow creatures or snow forts, many say the conditions made for exceptional sledding.

Jenny Unruh took her kids and some of their classmates to Pioneers Park on Friday afternoon. Unruh was among many adults who brought along their little ones and their own gear to hit the hill. "The right ramp is super fast and they've been going down to the bottom of the hill. It's a little cold and windy but it's worth it, snow days are awesome! " said Unruh of Friday's conditions.
