Drug Task Force Arrests 7 in Beatrice

Following an eight-month investigation, officers of the Southeast Area Drug Enforcement (SEADE) Task Force, Beatrice Police Department, Gage County Sheriff's Office, Nebraska State Patrol and United States Marshal Service arrested 7 people on drug charges.

Trevor Garton, 18, was arrested in the area of 8th and Milligan Street in Beatrice for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine and two counts of distribution of marijuana.

Brenda Haynes, 43, of 234 S. 16th Street, Beatrice was arrested for one count of aiding distribution of marijuana.

Eric Lewien, 19, of 211 S. LaSalle Street, Beatrice was arrested for one count of distribution of marijuana.

Dylan Pohlman, 20, of 1518 Jefferson Street, Beatrice, was arrested for three counts of distribution of methamphetamine.

Steven Schutte, 20, of 234 S. 16th Street, Beatrice was arrested for two counts of distribution of marijuana, two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, one count of distribution of a counterfeit controlled substance, once count of distribution of an imitation controlled substance, and one count of distribution of a prescription controlled substance.

Christina Burr, 29 of 211 South LaSalle was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

A 16-year-old juvenile was also arrested for distribution of methamphetamine but is not being named.
