Early Morning Accident Near Lindsay Leaves One in Critical Condition

Platte County, NE-- The Platte County Sheriff's Office and Nebraska State Patrol are investigating an accident that happened at just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning that injured three people, one of them critically.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle was traveling north on 430th Ave and went into the east ditch about 1/2 mile south of 385th St.

The vehicle, being driven by 21-year old Stacy Beller rolled once and landed upright.

Beller and the front seat passenger, 21-year old Shawn Korth, were transported to the Boone County Health Center and treated for minor injuries.

The back seat passenger, 20-year old Caleb Lindhorst was transported to the Columbus Community Hospital and then taken by Life Net to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha with critical injuries.

The Sheriff's office said they don't believe seatbelts were worn by Korth or Lindhorst.
