Federal Agents Raid Exotica Gift Shops
Federal agents raided the Exotica Gift Shop in Lincoln Thursday.
It happened at many locations, including the store at 2441 North 48th Street.
Special Agent Trista Frederick with ATF told 10/11 News that Lincoln Police assisted in the raid.
ATF also confirmed raids at Exoticas in Omaha, South Sioux City and Council Bluffs.
During the Thursday raid in Council Bluffs, the store's clerk was led away in handcuffs during the raids.
Federal authorities would not say what agents were seeking in the raid, but several boxes were removed from the stores.
Only two weeks earlier, the Council Bluff clerk had been repeatedly shocked with a stun gun in back-to-back robberies at the Council Bluff location.
Two Omaha men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary in those robberies.
10/11 News doesn't know what agents wanted to find, because the warrants remained sealed and we're told the investigation is far from over.
