A home on Bluff Road in Lancaster County is the most recent to fall victim to a rash of daytime burglaries.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says the home was hit sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. It is also the fifth county home since Jan. 30.
Over $11,000 was taken in belongings and $4,000 of damage was done to the home.
Wagner is urging county residents to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity. He also says it's important for people to know their neighborhood.
Homeowner Josh Kadavy says he and his family are now taking extra safety measures to keep their home protected.
He says they plan to install security cameras on the house and even on the road to monitor vehicles going by.
