Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at 4822 West Kingsley Street around 2 Saturday afternoon.

According to LFR, the fire started in the attached garage.

Fire Station 11 had the fire out within fifteen minutes.

An LFR captain says it's a good thing the fire station remained open.

The Mayor's budget called for fire station 11 to close, but the City Council ruled against it in August.

No one was home at the time of the fire, the cause is still under investigation.
