The first business in the new entertainment district opened its doors Wednesday. It opened just in time for the first Huskers game of the season.
It’s hard to believe that just a month and a half ago, Buffalo Wings and Rings didn't exist, but you wouldn't know it by Wednesday’s crowd. The new restaurant guarantees a television view from each of its 250 seats.
The owner say they wanted to ensure that every customer is able to watch events like the season opener, even for those who may not have tickets to the big game.
"I anticipate we're going to be slammed, we're preparing for that and we're excited. We’re going to have as much food and everything we can hold and we're going to be ready," said Kevin Wolf co-owner.
More than 90 new jobs were added to the restaurant before Wednesday’s opening and at least 80 percent will be working on game day Saturday.
