First News Nebraska Anchor Chad Silber and Senior Producer Amber Smith traveled to Los Angeles, California to show viewers what goes on Behind the Scenes of some of the shows you see on 10/11.
10/11 got on the set of Let's Make a Deal and Wheel of Fortune and talked with the hosts of the show.
While there, they toured some of LA's hot spots to give viewers back in Nebraska a taste of the entertainment mecca.
On Hollywood Boulevard, it's not hard to realize how it got its name. From huge theatres above to stars under your feet, the city is all about the glitz and the glam. You don't have to walk far to see Ripley's Believe it or Not, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, The Hollywood Museum and the Wax Museum.
Nearby Warner Brothers Studios is the home for many shows on 10/11 including Ellen, The Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, Two and A Half Men and Mike and Molly.
Chad and Amber set out to shoot video of the famed Hollywood sign but it's a lot harder than you might think. They drove up and down side streets and alleys without getting any closer. Finally on top of the 2nd floor of a Home Depot parking garage they got a good view of it in the distance.
And what's a trip to California without a trip to the beach?! However, there were no sunbathers. Santa Monica Beach was a little bit chilly for any California native. The beach was pretty empty but they did find two people from Minnesota and Wisconsin to snap a picture.
