Former Community Corrections Employee Arrested for Forgery

LINCOLN, Neb.-- A now-former employee of the Community Corrections Diversion department was taking restitution money intended for victims of crime, according to Lincoln Police. Some of the money was also intended for court costs.

Jennifer Taylor of Seward was arrested Tuesday after admitting to filling out money orders to be payable to herself and depositing them into her own bank account.

She took 9,066 dollars from October 2013 to December 2013
