A former Lincoln Police Officer already in prison for stealing from LPD's Santa Cop program now faces more time behind bars.

Cassandra Briggs pleaded no contest to felony forgery charges on Tuesday.

In December, Briggs said someone misused her debit card.

Prosecutors said Briggs actually gave her mother the card to withdraw money to help raise her child while she's in prison.

She faces up to five years in prison for this charge.

She's scheduled to be back in court April 30.
