A former Lincoln man whose case on a child sexual assault charge ended in a mistrial last January has pleaded no contest and been sentenced.
The reports states 38-year-old Cory Dieteman entered the plea Thursday and was sentenced to a year in jail, the maximum on the misdemeanor charge of attempted third-degree sexual assault.
He's already served 435 days in jail, so he won't serve any more time on that conviction.
Dieteman was accused of sexually touching a 10-year-old boy in 2008. He originally was charged with third-degree sexual assault, a
Dieteman still faces a Douglas County allegation that he sexually assaulted a child in June 2007.
