Four Women Robbed - Suspect Takes Nearly $20,000

Police are calling it a robbery and assault that took place over the weekend at the Conoco Motel in Grand Island.

Twenty-two-year-old Hussein Hussein, of Grand Island, arrested for robbery, burglary, terroristic threats, first-degree assault, use of weapon and possession of marijuana.

According to court documents Hussein kicked in the door at one of the rooms at the Conoco Motel on W. 2nd Street on Saturday morning.

Those same documents allege Hussein demanded money and assaulted one of the four victims with a hand gun.

The women also told police they had a lot of cash taken from them.

"Between sixteen and eighteen thousand dollars some where in that area along with computers and a couple of iPads," said Grand Island Police Officer Butch Hurst.

The victims are not from the area, but they recently worked at the non alcoholic gentleman's club, The Edge Bar and Grill in Alda.

Police say three of the women are from Wisconsin, while the Fourth is from Louisiana.
