Fugitive Murder Suspect Arrested in Lincoln

The Metro Fugitive Task Force-Lincoln arrested 24-year-old John Harris, based on a first degree murder warrant out of Illinois.

Harris is wanted for first degree murder out of St. Clair County, IL based off an incident that involved a gang related drive-by shooting earlier this year.

The MFTF received a tip that Harris was possibly in the Lincoln area. Task force members began to investigate and arrested Harris at an address in Lincoln.

Harris is in a Lincoln jail and is awaiting extradition proceedings to IL.
